The right choice for exposed locations – repeaters on hilltops, rooftops and masts where every decibel of range counts. Its flat radiation pattern (80° vertical beamwidth) concentrates the energy towards the horizon – ideal for long, level radio links.
Typical applications
Exposed repeater sites, Helium hotspots and LoRaWAN gateways with long-haul requirements – anywhere the counterpart stations sit close to the horizon line. Where counterpart stations are located well below the site, the ZIISOR TX868-BLG-26 (3 dBi) or the ZIISOR TX868-BLG-40 (5.5 dBi) are the better choice.

Connection & mounting
The antenna has an N male connector. For boards with a U.FL connector (Inhero MR2, RAK4630 and similar modules), the N bulkhead jack → U.FL pigtail from the shop is the right match; devices with an SMA or RP-SMA jack need a corresponding adapter to N. Mounting note: For exposed outdoor installations we recommend proper grounding of the antenna system and lightning protection (e.g. a gas discharge arrestor) in the antenna feed line.
