Compact 868 MHz omnidirectional antenna in weatherproof fiberglass construction – the right choice for Meshtastic, MeshCore and LoRaWAN nodes where broad coverage matters more than maximum range, for example above valley locations or on rooftops with nearby surroundings. Its wide 120° vertical beamwidth makes it forgiving of slopes and elevation differences in the terrain.
Typical applications
Meshtastic and MeshCore nodes in undulating terrain, above valley locations and in urban areas with surrounding buildings; LoRaWAN sensor nodes with a nearby gateway. For long, level links the ZIISOR TX868-BLG-40 (5.5 dBi) and the ZIISOR TX868-BLG-55 (8 dBi) are the better choice.

Connection & mounting
The antenna has an N male connector. For boards with a U.FL connector (Inhero MR2, RAK4630 and similar modules), the N bulkhead jack → U.FL pigtail from the shop is the right match; devices with an SMA or RP-SMA jack need a corresponding adapter to N. Mounting note: For exposed outdoor installations we recommend proper grounding of the antenna system and lightning protection (e.g. a gas discharge arrestor) in the antenna feed line.
