Description
Pre-assembled battery cable for the Inhero MR2 – connecting cable and protection module with an integrated temperature sensor come soldered and tested. You only connect the cell, which removes the trickiest solder joint of the whole installation.
In the MeshCore and Meshtastic communities the protection module fitted here is usually just called a BMS. Strictly speaking it is a protection circuit (PCM) for a single cell: balancing is irrelevant at 1S anyway, and on the MR2 charge control is handled by the onboard BQ25798.

⚠ Important notes
- Choose the version that matches your cell. The cutoff thresholds for LiFePO₄ and Li-ion are not compatible – the wrong version will damage the cell.

Limit the charge current: the MR2 charge current is adjustable up to 1500 mA via the CLI. When using this cable, cap it at 1000 mA (
set board.imax 1000). - The MR2 has no hardware reverse-polarity protection on the battery input. Check the polarity before connecting for the first time.
